In this latest event from the ‘Changing Perspectives’ series we will explore the future of Holocaust education after there are no longer any Holocaust survivors. We will be joined by Dr Noemie Lopian and Derek Niemann as they tell their unique stories, and how they use their story to educate about the Holocaust. There will then be a discussion to explore different ideas about Holocaust education in the future.

Holocaust educator Noemie, the daughter of a concentration camp survivor and writer Derek, the grandson of a Nazi SS officer and manager of slave labour, join forces to show why the Holocaust still has lessons for us all today.

Though they are descendants from opposite sides of this story, a desire for mutual understanding has brought them together to share their very different experiences, and shed light on their family stories.

*All our events are recorded, so if you are unable to make it on the day please sign up for a ticket and we will send you the recording!
