HSFA is recruiting! We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic Learning Manager to lead the education programme at our new Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre based at the University of Huddersfield.
The Learning Manager will be responsible for the Holocaust Exhibition & Learning Centre’s programmes for formal and informal learners. You’ll develop and manage an innovative programme of workshops and resources, based on the exhibition and collections, for a range of audiences including schools, FE and HE providers, youth and community groups and adult learners. You will be enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with a wide range of people. You’ll have substantial experience of developing creative learning programmes based on archive and/or museum collections, including digital collections. You will be able to balance an audience-focused approach with historical rigour and an awareness of the subject’s contemporary relevance and sensitivity. You will also have business acumen and be able to contribute to fundraising and income generation strategies. This is a demanding but rewarding role with great opportunities for development.
